Overlay is a concept for comparing time-series data across events, trends, market behavior, or system changes. It is for people who need to spot patterns over time without fighting cluttered dashboards or fragmented charting tools.
Why It Exists
Time-series comparison is often harder than it should be because event context, annotations, and aligned overlays are usually split across different tools or buried inside overly technical interfaces.

Current Status
Overlay is a concept / prototype. The next phase would focus on a tighter interactive prototype, sample datasets, and a clearer path for sharing annotated comparisons.
